How It
Started.
CITY FOOD HALL WAS FOUNDED IN 2021
Built on a simple but powerful idea: to create culinary communities that make it easy for both new and established chef entrepreneurs to showcase their food, build a brand and following, and do so while significantly reducing the risk that typically comes with opening a restaurant. communities founded upon making it easy for new or existing chef entrepreneurs to showcase their food, build a brand and following, while mitigating their risk.
By providing turnkey spaces, built-in foot traffic, and a supportive ecosystem, City Food Hall empowers chefs to focus on what they do best: creating exceptional food. More than just a collection of eateries, each hall is designed to be an incubator for culinary talent and a launchpad for future restaurant success stories.
City Food Hall expanded from one to five projects, beginning with Orlando and Gainesville as its first two locations. This momentum continued with the opening of our Doral location in February 2026, with Miami Beach and Athens, Georgia set to follow in summer and fall of 2026, respectively.
